Authorize Projector for Vimeo

Projector can simplify and automate the process of uploading customized videos to your account on a streaming service of your choice. Vimeo is one of the supported services.

Streaming services won't allow Projector to deploy video for you without authorization. If you have accounts with multiple streamers, you can authorize Projector to work with any service that's supported. However, you can only deploy missions to one streaming service per project. You will need separate payloads if you want to:

  • Deploy some videos in a payload to one streaming service and others to a different service
  • Deploy the same videos to more than one streaming service
  • Deploy some videos in a payload to one streaming service and others to a different service
  • Deploy the same videos to more than one streaming service

NOTE  If you have not already set up your Vimeo account, you must do so before you can authorize Projector to deploy missions to it.

Authorize Projector

  1. In the Streaming Services section of Projector, select Vimeo from the drop-down.
  2. Click Setup.
  3. In the upper right of the Vimeo Upload Settings screen, select a Vimeo profile from the drop-down and then click Sign In.
  4. Enter your Vimeo user email, Vimeo client ID, and Vimeo client secret.

  7. Copy the code, then return to Projector and paste it in the Vimeo Auth code field.
  8. Click Save to close the dialog.
