Projector offers you two primary benefits:

• Faster video rendering through parallel processing Lets your computer process multiple different missions at the same time, one per computer core. The more cores, the more missions you can process in parallel.
• Automated distribution of personalized video

With Projector, you can reach multiple targeted audiences with greater speed and precision. But there are many other benefits as well:

• We designed Projector to work with After Effects and Templater. It integrates seamlessly into your normal workflow. This shortens your learning curve so you can be more productive from day one.
• Projector is an installed application. Your video assets are never visible to another party. This is true both in transit and at rest.
• Projector has a built-in transcoder, so you can build that step into your automated distribution workflow.
• Each video payload Collection of one or more missions in Projector. Many configurations and settings are done on the payload level., can include multiple missions (the Projector term for processing and deploying customized videos). Even if your payloads include hundreds of missions, you can easily keep track of them in Projector Mission Control.
• When you use Projector to deploy to streaming services Platform where Projector uploads your videos so your customers can view them., you can configure global settings. These include privacy, posters, GIF clips, grouping, and similar features. Configure these settings at the payload level based on the streaming service and your preferences. Would you rather let the streaming service create posters and groupings for you? You have that option, sometimes or always. You choose the level of control and customization you want.
• The archiving feature lets you easily save personalized videos to a storage location you provide. You can even save the poster image and GIF clips you create right with the corresponding video.
• Projection automates rendering and deployment of your videos. Projector monitors the render and streaming status for each campaign in your data source. At the right time, it starts the upload process at the service you choose. Projection also writes information from your streaming service back to your data source. That way you always have a complete picture of your videos.

Here are details about what Projector supports as of this release for each of the listed options.

• Customized Video:Supported customization tools are Adobe After Effects and Templater. You must install and run Projector on the same computer where you use Templater and store its output files.
• Data Source: Projector reads render and streaming status from campaigns in QUE and Google Sheets. We'll support more data sources in the future.

• Streaming Service: Vimeo and JW Player are currently supported. Support for additional services is on the Projector road map.

  Should I use Vimeo or JW Player?

  Vimeo and JW Player are industry-leading streaming services. Either can help your videos reach the audiences you want. The primary difference between the two is the type of video creator they're designed for.

  Vimeo is very user-friendly and consumer-focused. It caters primarily to businesses and individuals who want to make video easily available but don't have a lot of web development experience. Their primary business is not usually video production. This can make it easier for those who are new to customized video, who produce fewer than 1,000 videos at a time, or who only produce video occasionally.

  JW Player is designed for enterprise-level video producers. It caters primarily to broadcasters, publishers, and others for whom video is their main business. It offers a high level of personalization and white label options. It's a great choice for video production houses, large corporate users, and others who regularly produce a high volume of customized video on a consistent basis.

• Storage Service: Projector supports Amazon Simple Storage Service (or S3) buckets for archiving. The S3 bucket must be in an AWS account that you provide. Custom storage integrations can be discussed with Dataclay.
