Add an Autograf to QUE
You can add an Autograf to your QUE account so that any Campaign or Job can use the Autograf's data. In the QUE Dash, click Autografs on the main navigation to access a high-level overview of each Autograf added to your organization's account.
Using Templater, follow the steps below to add an Autograf to QUE.
Before you begin, ensure all of the following conditions are met:
- The Templater Settings effect has been applied to all layers intended to be dynamic.
- Column names or property keys in your data source match the names of dynamic layers.
- A data source, footage folder, and output folder are entered into the fields in the Batch Assets section of the Templater panel.
- In Templater's main panel, within the Batch Assets group of controls, click Autograf.
- In the Autograf Setup dialog, within the Autograf Manifest group of buttons, click Create.
- Wait for the Autograf to be parsed as Templater creates its manifest and syncs it to QUE. When processing completes, the Autograf will be available in QUE.
- Refresh the Autografs listing in the QUE Dash to view it listed. You can now use the Autograf for setting up QUE Campaigns.
NOTE After adding your Autograf to QUE a file named dataclay-autograf.json is saved to the same directory as your project. This JSON file describes how your project is set up with Templater. See Interpreting an Autograf's Manifest for more information. Additionally, once added to QUE the ID of the stored Autograf will be saved to the project file's XMP data.
- You may have previously added the Autograf to your account. Try updating the Autograf rather than adding a new one.
- Try cloning the Autograf to create a copy of your Autograf and have it sync to QUE.
- Try deleting the Autograf and then creating a new one as detailed in the steps above.
