Setting an Output Folder

Follow these steps to set up a folder to store your rendered digital media files or copies of versioned AE project files if using Adobe Media Encoder to render:

1. Create a folder on your local drive or network.

   WARNING  Using a cloud-based sync folder for Templater output can result in errors when using Adobe Media Encoder as your render engine. Use a local or networked folder instead.

2. In the Templater panel, under Batch Assets, either type the path to the folder you created into the Output folder field or use the … button to select a folder.

Accessing Templater's Resource Locations

Any time you want to quickly access the location of Templater's resources, you can click the link icons to the left of the Data, Footage, and Destination fields in the Templater panel. Clicking these buttons will open the location in its corresponding application.
