Animated Dynamic Layers

Templater’s layout engine can adjust layers with Position and Scale keyframes. When Templater adjusts an animated layer, it translates all the layer’s Position keys by the same amount but only alters the first key values of the Scale parameter.

 

Example of Repositioned Animated Layer

An animated dynamic layer is set to align to the top left of its containing composition. Templater calculates reposition amounts based on the first position key. It then translates the rest of the position keys by the same amount.

 

Example of Scaled Animated Layer

An animated dynamic layer scales to 15% of its containing composition and aligns itself to the center of the left edge of its containing composition. Templater calculates rescaling amounts based on the first scale key and only adjusts that key's value.
