Switching Your Data Source Authorization between Google Drive Accounts

Follow these steps to switch the Google Drive account that Templater is authorized to use. You may want to do this if you want to change your data source from one Google Sheets document to another Google Sheets document within a different Google Drive account.

WARNING  As of October 3, 2022, versions of Templater prior to 3.1.0 will no longer function with Google Sheets due to Google deprecating an older user authorization flow. You will need to reauthorize Templater to access your Google data after updating to the latest version.

1. In the Templater panel, under Batch Assets, click the Google Drive icon.
2. In the Google Sheets Setup dialog, click Sign Out. Then click Sign In.
3. In the browser window that appears, log in to a different Google Drive account.
4. To permit Templater to access the account's Google Sheets data, click Allow. The browser will be redirected to a confirmation screen.
5. Switch back to Templater and click Authorize.
6. Ensure that a list of Google Sheets documents associated with the newly authorized account loads in the list box.
